How the league works
Each participant selects three clubs from each of the Premier League, Championship, League One and League Two. Every tier has its own salary cap. More than one participant may select the same club. Portfolios and ownership percentages remain private until selections lock. Club prices come from the frozen BettingOdds league-winner market: shorter odds mean a higher price, and clubs with identical odds receive the same rank and price.
Weekly scoring
Each club begins with its actual cumulative league points. Recorded cup, award and commissioner events are then added. Scores on the public table are cumulative.
Final league-position awards
Each club receives one final-position award or deduction. These bands do not stack with one another.

Projection performance
At season finalization, each club’s final league position is compared with its frozen preseason odds rank. This award or deduction stacks with the final-position award. Tied preseason odds retain their tied rank.

Live projection
The scoreboard also shows a non-binding “if the tables finished today” projection. It adds the final-position band and preseason projection-performance result implied by the current table. A Promotion Token is provisionally doubled only when its club currently occupies an automatic-promotion place. Playoff outcomes remain unresolved. Projected points are display-only and are never written as official score events.
Weekly Spotlight Club
Beginning in Week 5, each participant may choose one current club before the next weekly snapshot. If that club ties for the most league points gained during that scoring week among the participant’s own twelve clubs, the portfolio earns +2. After the first choice, the Spotlight carries forward automatically until changed. If a transfer removes the carried club, no Spotlight is inherited until a new one is chosen. The choice may be changed until that weekly snapshot is saved.
Managers' League
A separate round-robin head-to-head table begins in Week 5. Each fixture compares the two managers’ ordinary Pyramid points gained during that weekly scoring period. A win earns 3 Managers' League points, a draw 1 and a loss 0. These standings do not change the Pyramid Championship score.
Pyramid Cup
The separate knockout Pyramid Cup begins in Week 8. Cup ties use ordinary Pyramid points gained in the designated scoring week. If tied, the manager with the higher cumulative Pyramid score advances; if still tied, the fixed preseason cup draw breaks the tie. Byes are used when the field is not a power of two. Cup results do not change the Pyramid Championship score.
Transfers
Each participant may replace one club in the first half of the season and one in the second half. Transfers do not carry over: an unused first-half transfer cannot be used later. The commissioner must open the transfer window, and at least one current standings update must exist.
- The replacement must be in the same division and fit the original division salary cap.
- Its transfer price is based on its latest league position using the same price ladder as preseason ranks, and that price is frozen on acquisition.
- The outgoing club keeps only the points it earned for that portfolio before the move. The incoming club contributes only points earned after the move.
- Any club acquired by transfer is ineligible for the final projection over/underperformance bonus or penalty in that portfolio.
- The Promotion Token club cannot be transferred.

Promotion Token
Each participant may mark one selected EFL club as the Promotion Token. If that club earns automatic promotion or wins its promotion playoff, its complete final score—league points plus every bonus and deduction—is doubled after the season is finalized. A failed token has no penalty.
Timing: final-position and projection-performance awards are applied only when the commissioner finalizes the season. Playoff and cup results are recorded separately because a league table alone cannot identify knockout results.
